Elly Burnett DVM is an amazing human and has a real gift for healing. Our 11 year old Shepard Boxer Orion developed auto immune hemolytic anemia. Brought him to the pet hospital down town and we spent an Exorbitant amount of money keeping him alive. He ended up with two stage 4 pressure injuries on his elbows. I was running late to that appointment at the hospital and they wouldn’t see him and were going to recommend putting him down. So I just called Hearth Stone and brought him right in. She agreed with me that he didn’t appear to be in major pain or distress and said we could just try taking him off all the toxic meds do some muscle flap surgery’s give him antibiotics and see what happens. Saved his life and it was a 10th of what I had spent at the corporate hospital. 3.5 years later he still kicking. She is seeing him for one of his legs again now and it went from bleak outlook to alright let’s just get that closed again. I can’t recommend her enough! It’s a family practice treating your family members. She has a rare magical gift of healing. Thank you! Have always had the best service for my cats there. They are thorough and kind. Answer any questions and my cats are given the best of care. I don't feel like I am on an assembly line.
